The Treasurer's office is one of the heartbeats of our county's financial infrastructure. Donald Valdez
My experience at the state capitol and right here in Conejos County has given me a deep understanding of how to protect and administer taxpayer dollars — while keeping our financial systems efficient, transparent, and modern.
This is about giving back to the community that raised me, and being a careful steward of every public dollar that passes through this office.
Handle county funds with diligence, accuracy, and respect for the people they belong to.
Put residents first with responsive, straightforward service from the Treasurer's office.
Reinforce protections for the property owners who are the backbone of our county.
Protect our water and land and support conservation practices that last for generations to come.
Stand with the veterans of Conejos County who have given so much for all of us.
Safeguard residents and public funds with strong internal controls, regular audits, and vigilant oversight that stop fraud before it starts.
From our ranches and rivers to the people who make this valley home — Donald is rooted in Conejos County.
